Earl Grey has outlasted every fashion for two centuries, and it rests on one simple pairing: a clean black tea and bergamot, an Italian citrus with a fragrance more complex than orange.
Ours is made with pure bergamot, with cornflower petals added for colour and a floral touch. The infusion is amber red, aromatic, round on the palate, with a light tang at the finish. A classic afternoon tea, plain or with a splash of milk.
