Ethiopia Sidamo Shefina Organic, Natural Process, Speciality Roast
Ethiopia Sidamo Shefina Organic, Natural Process, Speciality Roast
Cultivated by 1099 small-scale coffee farmers on a total area of 1450 hectares in the Shefina highlands, coffee plantations thrive at altitudes ranging from 1850 to 2100 meters above sea level. At such altitudes, Ethiopian coffees ripen slowly, allowing them to absorb more nutrients and develop robust flavors influenced by the unique local climate and soil conditions.
Coffee is also grown using an agroforestry system that benefits from the abundant shade provided by various forest trees, which improves soil fertility.
